meet Kenny!

Kenny was born and raised in St. Paul, MN where he worked construction immediately out of high school until he enlisted in the United States Navy from 1959-1965. He served on the refueling squadron aboard the USS Okinawa during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

After his time in the Navy came to a close, he began working for Ford Motor Company in St. Paul. He worked in various roles until he retired after 32 years.

In 2021, Kenny had a mobility scooter that broke down and with Amanda's help of TikTok, the world donated enough money for a new mobility scooter and then some! He started giving back free mobility scooters to vets.

He became known as @patriotickenny through this journey for his love of America and the servicemen and servicewomen who protect our country. He was the former president of the Patriotic Kenny Foundation where he gave back scooters to as many vets as he can even right up to his passing. Kenny passed away in May 2026 after ongoing health complications, but Kenny made his passion known for the Patriotic Kenny Foundation legacy to continue even until his final day. Watch Kenny's final interview here.
