meet Amanda!

Amanda moved to Minnesota in her adulthood years and has officially lived in Minnesota longer than her rival-home state of Wisconsin. She has graduated from the University of Northwestern- St. Paul, Saint Paul College, University of Minnesota, and is currently enrolled in the doctorate program through Gallaudet University in the Critical Studies of Deaf Learners program.

Amanda is a full-time teacher at Metro Deaf School, co-founder of "Did You Know That", founder and content creator of @patriotickenny, and soon-to-be debut author of the children's book, "Kenny's Bright Red Scooter". 

Amanda has the utmost respect for our active duty and veteran members of our military. She got started with @patriotickenny with her kinship with Kenny Jary, her neighbor, friend, and Navy veteran. She helped establish the Patriotic Kenny Foundation with hopes to continue to pass on Kenny's legacy and to continue to give back to our veterans.

On the side, she enjoys managing social media, drinking coffee, graphic design, video editing, eating cheese, and playing with furry animals.
